I have a 970 GTX and although my card is recognized, the drivers have been patched and in NVIDIA Driver Manager's Graphics Driver tab you can see that the NVIDIA Web Driver is selected, there is no HW acceleration. there are a few symbols that the Nvidia driver seems to be using that are not present in Mojave, so the kext is not loaded
